Bip is a leading European consulting company. Founded in 2003, Bip today employs more than 1,500 professionals, who deliver management consulting and business integration services supporting companies in the research and adoption of disruptive technological innovation.

Co-Founder and CEO

Carlo Capè was  born in Milan in 1961 and is Bip Co-Founder and CEO.
After a degree in Management Engineering at Politecnico di Milano in 1987, he undertook an Executive Degree at the MIT Sloan School of Management, Boston in 1992.
In 1987 he began working as business management consultant for Italian and European companies in logistics and reengineering projects in the Manufacturing, Telecom and Utilities sectors. Moving to Deloitte in 2001, he was the partner responsible for the Oil & Gas Industry in the EU.
Since 2003 he has been involved in the liberalisation, privatisation and regulation processes of the Energy & Utility sector and has cooperated with regulators, authorities and big industrial groups in defining rules, new business models and in market development. In the same year he decided to found, with five other partners, Bip - Business Integration Partners of which he has been CEO since the start.
He is co-author of the book “When the made in Italy is stronger than the crisis: lesson learnt” published in 2015 by Mc Graw Hill in partnership with Politecnico di Milano and author of several articles on Organisation and Management including: "Dynamic Manufacturing - Appendix to the Italian edition" - Hayes, Wheelwright, Clark (IPSOA); "Chief Information Officer: the challenge of pragmatic innovation " - Capè, Motta, Troiani (Il Sole 24 Ore); "Chief Information Officer - How to reconcile innovation and budget" - Capè, Motta, Troiani (Development & Organisation).
For many years he has been a speaker at the Energy Summit and other events in the sector thanks to his expertise in the Energy field. He is also a member of the board of MIP Politecnico di Milano Graduate School of Business and a member of the Scientific Committee of the Master in Energy Management.
He is the Board President of Assoconsult, (the association of Confindustria consulting firms), and he was the coordinator of the working group which produced the innovative Social responsibility code of ethics for consultants, approved in March 2013.
He devotes his free time to his family, dividing his time between the mountains and the sea.

Nino Lo Bianco

Co-Founder and President

Nino Lo Bianco was born in Torino in 1938 and is Bip Co-Founder and President.
He grew up in Sicily and left during the 70’s with a Law degree and a MBA from ISIDA, looking for a new job. In 1973 he founded Telos Management Consultants as Managing Director, later acquired by Deloitte Consulting Italy. Over the years Lo Bianco gained a great deal of experience in Management Consulting at the highest levels in Manufacturing, Public Services and Public Administration sectors, both in Italy and abroad.
In 2003, together with his partners, he founded Business Integration Partners taking the position of President and Chief Executive Officer.
He is President of the ASSCO (Association of Consulting Companies) and Vice-President of the FITA (Italian Federation of Industries and Professional Services and Advanced Services).
Firmly convinced that education is the key to success he founded the Bip Institute. He is a professor of Management for a number of business schools, and visiting professor in several teaching programs in Italy and abroad, including INSEAD Fontainebleau, IESE Barcelona and ISIDA. Among his more important activities are projects for companies such as IRI (Institute for Industrial Reconstruction), ENI (National Hydrocarbons Corporation), Fiat, Telecom Italia, Iveco, Pirelli, Finmeccanica, RCS (Rizzoli-Corriere della Sera), Fondiaria, and Government Departments such as the Italian Home Office, Defence and Foreign Ministries.
For the newspaper Sole24ore he wrote a personal account, entitled "I wanted to be a consultant: half a century of Italian capitalism seen from inside".
He lives between Rome and Milan. In his spare time he is a contributor to several Italian economics' publications. He is also a Grand Officer of the Republic.

Fabio Troiani

Co-Founder and CEO

Fabio Troiani was born in Rome in 1961 and is Bip Co-Founder and CEO.
After attaining a degree in Business & Economics, he achieved an MBA in the US, and since 1986 has been involved with management consulting activities for Italian and multinational companies; he is experienced in a number of areas but focused on innovation and transformation projects in technology-intensive sectors: telecommunications, media, technology providers, banking and utilities. He was one of the protagonists of privatisation and liberalisation processes in the telecommunications sector in Italy and Europe. He has collaborated with leading industrial groups, pursuing projects in business transformation, development and consolidation, processes streamlining, planning and governance of their IT systems.
In 2000, for  a major international consulting group, he has was responsible for Industry Communication in the EU, managing a budgets of more than 100 million euros and directing twenty partners in in fifteen different European countries.
In 2003, along with other five partners, he started a new company and founded Bip - Business Integration Partners being in place as the CEO since the beginning.
He has authored several articles on innovation in Enterprises, and a book entitled "Chief Information Officer, the challenge of pragmatic innovation", co-written with Carlo Capè and Gianmario Motta. He is passionate about technology and new businesses, and has completed the executive course of the prestigious Singularity University, of which he is a Fellow and active Alumni Association member. In corporate decisions he considers it essential to combine the "breaking of paradigms" perspective with perseverance in pursuing and executing change.
He is a passionate cyclist and mountain hiker.
